COMPANY PROFILE Begnardi winery was founded in 1974 when Begnardi Roberto decided to settle in Tuscany, by buying a farmhouse and some lands on which he planted his first hectare of grape vines.
Originally the company dealt with various types of agriculture including animal husbandry and cereal crops, as well as, of course, the production of wine.
In 2000, 2 of Roberto's 4 children came into play: Michele and Luca who, from an early age, have never stopped contributing to the good running of the company.
They therefore decided, together with their father, to focus exclusively on the wine sector, which was already a great passion for them, and to develop it to the fullest.
It was in this year that new vineyards were planted and work began on the construction of a larger cellar. This gave the opportunity to produce more and with a higher quality standard thanks to the new equipment purchased.
From here the quality of the product becomes the focal point of the company from which everything then developed.
The resources invested, both economic and labor, began to be focused exclusively on the production of excellent quality grapes, essential for a fine wine, along with fastidious care of the vineyards.
Over the years, the company size has gradually increased reaching currently 12 hectares of owned vineyard which are still entirely managed with the aim of producing quality also thanks to the help of Alessandro, Michele's son, who since 2016, has decided to carry on the family passion.
