Since 1938, Franzosi family has been producing wines and extra virgin olive oil, defined as the treasures of the Lake Garda, with passion and love, in Puegnago del Garda, located in Valténesi, on the western shore of Lake Garda, the beautiful Riviera of Garda Bresciano, in the north of Italy.
It’s a story of a family, a cellar and a territory. A past that has distant roots, firmly rooted in the earth. A memory that smacks of authenticity and the right choices.
The Estate Franzosi is directed by Paola, Giovanni and Luigi, representing the third generation of family ownership, combining tradition and innovation, knowledge, commitment and respect for nature. A great value is dedicated to Lake Garda terroir, wines are the expression of the soil, the climate and the cultivation of the vineyards.
The winery is located on the hill of Monte Aullo. There are 30 hectares of vineyards, located at an altitude between 100 and 300 meters from sea level and 6 hectares dedicated to olive tree with more than 2.500 plants between Leccino olives, a cultivar present in the Lake Garda area since the beginning of the 20th century and Casaliva, a typical native olive tree from Lake Garda.
